Getting To Know Me and My Family

This is my very first shot at blogging so I think it best if I introduce you to me, Bob and my family.  Not sure why I have to introduce myself to the only people who will ever read my blogs, but just in case a stranger wonders through the blogging world, they will know a little bit of who I am.

I have been told to not use real names of family members or anyone who gets mentioned in my blogs.  Now that is going to get real complicated fast as in real life and times I can't remember their real names half the time, then I have to give them fake names which can turn into a night mare.  I ask, be patient until I get a handle on these do's and don'ts of blogging.

Bob....70+ years of age, happy, fairly healthy, married 50 years or close to it, 3 wonderful kids(2 girls, one boy) all working and requiring no financial assistance from us. Then comes the 7 Grand children, six boys, one girl.  When all together they will be known as the Magnificent 7.  Now that is what I consider the immediate family and what most of my blogs will be about.  Of course like most all of you, there are brothers, sisters, cousins, Grandma's and Grandpa's that are family but to me they will be considered extended family.

My youngest daughter got me into this blogging thing but I don't want you to blame her for any of my blogs, as she has already told me that I was on my own and not to call her for help.  Most of the help I would need would be spelling and grammatical error type stuff.  She did ask that I be careful as to what I say as some of her friends might read a blog or two.

Probably the first official blog will come out later in the week when I get home to Alabama (not really where I live) from my visit with my daughter and her family here in Texas (she really doesn't live there).

So, I hope you enjoy my writings of my loving family and friends.  I promise it will be better than this post.
